EVgo, a major public fast-charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) in the United States, has recently expanded its leadership team by recruiting seasoned executives from Tesla and General Motors.
New Leadership Appointments:
- Martin Sukup (Tesla): Appointed as Executive Vice President of Engineering.
- Jeff Inhofer (Tesla): Appointed as Vice President of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Engineering.
- Alex Keros (General Motors): Will join as Senior Vice President of Product on August 12, 2024.
This move is strategic for EVgo as it aims to enhance its network and deliver a superior charging experience for EV drivers. The new leadership brings extensive experience from the automotive and engineering sectors, which is expected to accelerate EVgo’s innovation and network expansion efforts.

EVgo and Regency Centers have recently opened a new fast-charging station at Blakeney Town Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of their ongoing partnership. This station marks a significant milestone, expanding their footprint to over 120 public fast-charging stalls across 40 Regency properties in 10 states.
